The final of the Champions League is the remaining final celebration for the European clubs this season. The campaign which will get concluded tonight has been a great season for all the American players playing in the campaign. Performers from the US have been playing in some of the most successful clubs in Europe. 

The players from America had been taking home a lot of silverware, including Borussia Dortmund’s Giovanni Reyna, RB Leipzig’s Tyler Adams, Juventus’ Weston McKennie, Lille, the Ligue 1 champions’ Timothy Weah while Brendan Aaronson claimed a cup double and a league while playing for FC Salzburg. McKennie won the cup of Coppa Italia. Reyna hoisted the cup of DFB-Pokal. Overall, 9 players managed to win around 12 trophies. The Champions League final will be taking place on the night of Saturday. There are also American players playing in the final of the Champions League.

The Champions League final will be played between Chelsea, with Christian Pulisic, the main US attacker, and Manchester City, with Zack Steffen, its main US keeper. Zack Steffen is the 1st American footballer to play for a winning side in the Premier League. With the group stage beginning in October, ten players were a part of the roster in the Champions League.

Beyond Steffen and Pulisic, the group also included Konrad Fuente and Sergio Dest, the duo of Barcelona, Chris Richards, defender of Bayern Munich, Alex Mendez, attacker of Ajax, Ethen Horvath, goalkeeper of Club Brugge, Reyna, McKennie and Adams. It has been 24 years since Jovan Kirovski, being the 1st American to win the medal of the Champions League. Following that victory, the fame of American soccer broke the ceilings!
