Argentina Thrashed Curacao As Messi Entered Both The Scoresheet And The Record Books


Argentina kept on with their celebrations post World Cup. Their last unbeaten run was stopped by Saudi in the World Cup, since then they have been on another winning streak again. Argentina and Lionel Messi are soaring up in the sky. It has been another memorable night for the winners of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Argentina were playing Curacao on Tuesday and it was a day that the goalkeepers and defenders of the opponent team will love to forget. Argentina smashed the net of Curacao seven times with their captain, Lionel Messi scoring three of those seven goals.

Messi has been talismanic in the game with a brace in the first half and completing his hattrick in the second to finally reach the 100 goal mark for the national side. However, Enzo Fernandez, Nicolas Gonzalez, Angel Di Maria, Gonzalo Montiel also carved their names on the scoresheet as well.

Then Gonzalo Motiel scored a tap-in from the close range to make it 7-0 at the end. After the match, audience gave tribute to their favorite player and coaches for their recent triumph at the World Cup.
