Although the Kentucky Derby has some time left still, it hasn’t stopped the stars from racing to the Barnstable Brown Gala on Friday night. Several celebrities were seen at this Gala- Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, Jack Harlow, Smokey Robinson, Chris Pine, Larry Birkhead and his daughter Dannielynn Birkhead, Peyton Manning, and several others stopped in for the charity event. For those unaware, this charity benefits the Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center located at the University of Kentucky. One of the biggest stars at the Charity event was Jack Harlow- who hails from Kentucky- and had recently released his latest album, Jackman. The Grammy-nominated rapper did arrive to plenty of screams from his fans- as he graciously posed for selfies.
Celebrities Were Seen Attending The Charity Event Ahead Of the Kentucky Derby
For the Charity Event ahead of the Kentucky Derby, Harlow had donned a two-piece tan suit with a white button-up underneath- along with a pair of shades. The rest of the evening was spent jamming out to the music and posing with his other celebrity friends- which included Patrick Mahomes. The star quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs also marked this occasion with his wife Brittany. At one point during the event, he was even seen singing along to Boys II Men’s “End of the Road” to her.
Other stars who attended the event ahead of the Kentucky Derby included Chris Pine and his father Robert- as they wore matching white suits and watched some of the performances. Some of the celebrities- including Ritchie Sambora, Boys II Men, Joey Fatone, and Smokey Robinson all sang along to their songs- with Robinson being joined by Rachel Platten for another duet. The gala has always been a success- for it managed to raise $17 million in the last 13 years- quite a tidy sum of money for a good cause.
