Disney Genie has been introduced by Walt Disney. It is a free platform that will assist visitors to plan their Disneyland outing freely. The platform will provide an array of features to choose from. The visitors will get a chance to pick and choose the different alternatives. They will have the luxury to plan their outing according to their wish. This tool is launched by Walt Disney World alongside Disneyland. The main motive of the application is to provide a hassle-free experience for visitors. Earlier, Disney used to give out passes for entries in their theme park.
Disney Genie Will Put An End To Hassles, Claims Disney
The world has taken a back seat and online business seems to be the future. Disney is quick to catch up with the latest trends. They have launched their brand new tool Disney Genie. This will help visitors to book their dream outing without facing any trouble. The platform is a completely online-based app. Disney has claimed that the new launch will provide more leisure time to visitors. They have to spend a minimum of time booking the slots.
The introduction of the new tool means Disney has decided to ditch their passes. The usual passes to get inside Disneyland were Fastpass+, Fastpass & Maxpass. These were reservations that had to be done before the visit to the park. This practice saw a rapid decline throughout the pandemic. Sales went down rapidly and Disney was forced to rethink.
Disney Genie includes two paid services namely: Lightning Lanes & Disney Genie+. Genie + offers the visitors entry to 40 Disney World and 15 Disneyland attractions. These will include Smugglers Run, Big Thunder Mountain, etc. Lightning Lane will offer some more premium benefits to make the experience better. Disney Genie+ will cost $15/person at Disney World & $20/person at Disneyland.
