Joe Rogan, the American comedian and podcast host, found himself in the middle of criticism following the comment that he made on one of his shows about “straight white men.” He made the claim that straight men belonging to the White race had been silenced owing to the culture of “woke.” This took place last week on the platform of one of the episodes of the show, “The Joe Rogan Experience.” He spoke to Joe List, the standup comedian, with regard to the evolving boundaries concerning the subject of “acceptable comedy.”
Joe Rogan On The Future Of “White Straight Men”
The podcast host asked a question that involved the subject of comedy movies. He stated that good comedy movies cannot be made these days. The reason for this is because there are extremely high chances of those getting canceled. Joe Rogan further added that the woke culture was something that has no end to it. It just keeps going deeper and deeper. He also stated that if anybody reaches the point where he agrees to all of the demands that are put forth by the culture, then that has an effect on those white men who are straight. They are then subjected to not being allowed to speak up.
The 53-year-old podcast host further continued to bring up a bunch of statements of a controversial nature. The former television artist claimed that the straight white men would have to face a situation where they would be permitted from going outside. The reaction that Joe List gave to the statement of Joe Rogan was laughter. However, the host continued claiming that he was serious and none of this was a joke. He also claimed that the stated situation was bound to come in the future.
