Chilli and Matthew Lawrence have been dating for four months. A source told us of the new couple, “They have been friends for a long time, but things turned romantic recently.”
Lawrence is perhaps best known for his roles in “Miss Congeniality” and “Mrs. Doubtfire.” His brother is Joey Lawrence and his sister is ’80s child star Melissa Joan Hart, aka the star of “Clarissa Explains It All.” Lawrence has also dated stars including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Katie Cassidy and Kimberly Stewart.
Chilli, whose real name is LaToya Jackson and Matthew Lawrence, the former star of “Grown Ups” are dating, a source tells Page Six.
The two were spotted getting cozy at a party in Los Angeles on Saturday night. The couple was seen holding hands and leaning in for kisses as they arrived at the event.
Matthew Lawrence Is Dating
Lawrence has been divorced from his wife since 2016 and is now free to date strangers again! Chilli has been quiet about her love life since splitting from her husband David Escamilla earlier this year after nearly 20 years together.
The 44-year-old singer had previously dated actor Michael Rappaport during their marriage but he died suddenly in 2006 after suffering an asthma attack while playing basketball with friends in L.A.’s Encino Park area of Thousand Oaks, Calif., where he lived with his family at the time (his mother Lorraine won America’s Got Talent).
A source told us of the new couple, “They have been friends for a long time, but things turned romantic recently.”
The source added that Lawrence and Chilli have been “spending more time together in recent months…and trying to keep it quiet.”
As we previously reported, the Dancing With The Stars alum has been quietly dating his former pro partner Allison Holker since they were paired together on Season 21 of DWTS in 2017.
