At Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, Phoebe Bridgers called in a special guest- Matty Healy of 1975. During her opening set in Nashville, the Grammy-nominated singer was joined by Matty- just a few days after a prominent newspaper had reported that the musician was dating Taylor Swift. The team-up between Bridgers and Healy is nothing new for they have often collaborated in the past. The Grammy-nominated singer was previously seen on the 2020 LP Notes on a Conditional Form by 1975, and she also made a cameo in their music video Being Funny in a Foreign Language track, “I’m In Love With You.”

Both Matty Healy and Phoebe Bridgers also shared this stage at the Ally Coalition benefit which was organized in December for a cover of Nico’s “These Days” along with Jack Antonoff and a few others. Healy was seen rocking the go-to skeleton onesie of Bridgers and was further joined on stage on Saturday by her Boygenius bandmates Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus for a heavyweight opening set before Taylor Swift came on to perform. As far as rumors about their relationship are concerned, the vocalist for 1975 was spotted at her Nashville date just a day before this concert, where he was snapped by concertgoers who were watching Taylor Swift perform at the Nissan Stadium.
Interestingly, in September 2022, Matty Healy had initially dismissed all talks of joining forces with Taylor Swift for her Midnights LP. But later, he admitted that his bandmates did work with the pop singer on her latest album. At that time, Healy had added that Taylor Swift was simply amazing.
