Nikki Haley, the former American ambassador to the United States of America, spoke out on the infamous Capitol riot. This took place in one of her most recent interviews. She held the former president of the country, Donald Trump, responsible for it.
The statements from the interview of Nikki Haley was issued this Friday. The former ambassador stated that Donald Trump let everybody down. It was very wrong of his followers to follow him. She also added that whatever happened, should never take place again.
Nikki Haley’s Political Balance
The diplomat and politician had always succeeded in maintaining a fine balance in her political life. She remained a good ally to Trump while at the same time maintaining a good distance so as to stay away from the critics of the Republican party. Nikki Haley left the administration of the former President in the year 2018. However, unlike others, she was not on bad terms with him. Most of the public figures who have parted ways with Trump have not been able to continue the relationship they had with him.
Nikki Haley also spoke out on the issue of Mike Pence, the former Vice President of the United States of America. She did not seem to be happy about the treatment that was given to him on 6th, back in the month of January. She mentioned that there have been no contacts made between her and Donald Trump since then. He had publicly criticized Mike Pence on the social media platform, Twitter.
The former United Nations Ambassador stated that what Donald Trump did to the former Vice President, was very wrong. The latter has always been a very good friend of his and loyal towards him. She said that she was “disgusted”.
