Tom Brady was taken aback when Rob Gronkowski recommended the veteran NFL quarterback date Sally Field. On an edition of the quarterback’s SiriusXM podcast Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray earlier this month, Gronkowski, 33, jokingly suggested that Brady, 45, could think about dating their 80 for Brady costar Field, 76.
Now, as he discusses his cooperation with Bounty with PEOPLE, Rob Gronkowski reveals that Brady — who recently finalized his 13-year divorce from ex-wife Gisele Bündchen in October — considered Gronkowski’s idea to be immensely hilarious. The football pro further mentioned that Brady had absolutely no clue that Rob would be going to ask him something so weird all of a sudden while on his program.
Rob Gronkowski Wants Tom Brady To Date Sally Field
In reference to their parts in the soon-to-be-released 80 for Brady, Rob Gronkowski asked Brady if he had any desire of dating Sally Field after her stupendous performance on the show- at one point during the podcast appearance. In response, Brady told the audience that while filming the movie, he and Field did have a little thing going on on camera. He further joked that they would be seeing what would come out of it at the end of it, considering they really enjoyed their time together.
Following Field, Rite Moreno, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin as NFL fans who travel to Houston for Super Bowl LI in 2017, the very same year Brady led the New England Patriots to a win over the Atlanta Falcons, 80 for Brady will be released in theatres next month. In the movie’s teaser, they can be seen trying to get into Super Bowl LI as they compete in Guy Fieri’s food-eating battle and even break a leg with Billy Porter. Glynn Turman, Bob Balaban, Jimmy O. Yang, Ron Funches, and Harry Hamlin will also feature in 80 for Brady. Brady also stars in the film and works as a producer, and Rob Gronkowski makes an appearance as himself.
