There has been news that more stimulus checks worth $600 will be given to more than 250,000 workers in the upcoming four months. This stimulus check will be paid once and will help poor workers who are living in Oregon. The plan was approved by the lawmakers of Oregon on 4th March.

There are many individuals who have demanded the Earned Income Tax Credit in the year 2020 and those people will be only eligible for the funds. This stimulus check will be given to only one member of a family.
The workers who will be eligible for this stimulus check will get the payment automatically from the Department of Revenue in the State and the money will be deposited by the month of July. The objective of this stimulus check advocated by the lawmakers was just to reduce the pressure off the shoulders of workers who worked for very low income during the pandemic. These hard-working people worked tremendously hard during the pandemic without caring for their health and thus, it is time for the Government to compensate them as they form a crucial part of the economy.
In the words of Sen. Kathleen Taylor, cash benefits can make the lives of millions of workers better. These payments can be utilized by the people to pay for basic necessities and expenses like gas, groceries, medical bills, rent, electricity bills, and many more.
The cost of administration and payments has amounted to almost $150 million which has been paid by Congress from the Federal Pandemic aid. In the meantime, as this check has been approved, thousands of people will depend on it for rent benefits. The people living in Alabama could also get checks for rent benefits worth $4.7 million from the Emergency Rental Assistance Program of the U.S. Treasury. Furthermore, the people of New Mexico will also get a bonus stimulus check of $175 for each child to families who will stand eligible.
