American comedy-drama television series, Ted Lasso, is ending in its final season three this year, with episodes being released over the weeks. Just like the previous seasons, season 3 too will comprise 12 episodes with the last episode released on May 31, the show comes to an emotional end.
Episode 12 is rightfully titled So Long Farewell as it connects the show’s audience with the well-known song of the same title from the classic film The Sound of Music starring Julie Andrews. The cast of Ted Lasso includes a med actor Jason Sudeikis who portrays the protagonist character Ted Lasso, an American football coach. While Jeremy Swift, Hannah Waddingham, Phil Dunster, Brendan Hunt, and Brett Goldstein portray other characters among other eminent actors.
The beautiful friendship of characters Ted and Rebecca played by Hannah Waddingham is a unique aspect of the series. This relationship is woven on the deepest ties of friendship between a man and a woman, which does not need to turn into a romantic one as happens in most plots these days. Rebecca asks Ted not to go back to America and stay in England, this certainly shows the magnitude of their bond as friends.
Jason Sudeikis Confirms The End Of Ted Lasso
Jason Sudeikis in an interview with Deadline, on May 31, said that Ted Lasso is ending its story with this final season and that the team wanted, hoped, and loved to tell the audience the story. While the story does come to an end, Sudeikis has also hinted at a probable spin-off of the series with characters of the show. If you too want to see this heartwarming tv series, Ted Lasso is streaming presently with all three seasons on Apple TV+.
