This football season hasn’t been great for most of the heavyweight teams in the European circuit. Be it Real Madrid, Man City, Juve or Ajax. The teams that are considered the best and the most consistent in the European circuit has declined thoroughly. Manchester City is currently fighting Arsenal to become Champions of the domestic league, however, their ride uphill hasn’t been great despite having Halaand in City’s already star-studded squad.
Napoli is flying high and they could cash in for the Seri A title after thirty-three years and are giving a good fight in the Champions League too whereas, Italy’s favorite club currently is playing in the Europa League. Even Real Madrid is losing the league to their arch-rivals, fighting to keep their chances alive in the domestic cup with a one goal-deficit against Barcelona, and their Champions League campaign does not look very promising too.
Why Big Teams Like Real Madrid Has Regressed This Season?
Whatever reason may be behind this sudden declination in forms of the big teams like Real Madrid, the clubs are planning to comeback stronger and sooner.
There have been many disappointing performances and results in this season from almost all the teams. As PSG and Tottenham got out of the Champions League this season, they sneaked in this list of the biggest clubs of Europe who are in bad form. Liverpool has recently came back defeating Manchester United seven to nil which gave them a Champion’s League spot in the table for now. Juventus is in ruins after news of frauds came surrounding the club. Chelsea has been poor since the start of Graham Potter’s managerial stint at Chelsea. The Blues have probably revived their coach just in time with the win against Dortmund in the Champions League.
