Donald Trump, a former President, still has a lot of strongholds over his Republican Party. The members who are Republicans, the ones who don’t endorse Trump are towing a hard line for raising their profile. They certainly don’t want people to notice them pushing Donald Trump aside.
Ron Desantis Appears Ready For 2024
No Republican can be considered to be a better President than Trump except for Ron Desantis, Governor, Florida. Just some months ago, Ron was just like another potential contender of 2024, who appears to be going nowhere. When Donald Trump did not get included inside the primary polls, Ron was seen averaging below 5%. He was behind many leaders like Mike Pence, who was the former VP. However, in the past 2 months, Ron Dedsantis has topped the non-Trump limited 2024 polling.
Ron is among a handful of candidates like Ted Cruz, Texas Senator, and Pence to hit regular double-digits. Sometimes Ron is also seen having some advantage inside the poll. Earlier in 2021, he topped and finished 1st in the CPAC poll which failed to include Trump. The rise of Ron Desantis has become a lot more interesting as he is running a national campaign for the very 1st time.
However, we can never rule out Mike Pence who was the VP for 4 years. We have seen how Joe Biden led in large numbers in the presidential primary of 2020 because of his already known popularity. He was the former VP of President Barack Obama. Moreover, at the end of the day, everything still depends on what Donald Trump actually ends up doing in the 2024 presidential elections.
